Estate gardens and green areas

Most Knocknacarra homes are in housing estates, and many face onto a shared green. It's tempting to put the castle out there where there's more room, but our terms only allow setup on private grass where you have permission to use the ground. Estate greens need to be arranged with us in advance. If your back garden is tight, a compact unit is the better choice.

Access matters as much as space. Semi-detached and corner houses with a side gate are usually straightforward, as long as bins, bikes and cars are out of the way and the gate is unlocked. Mid-terrace homes with no side access are harder, so tell us about the layout before you book.

When we arrive, an adult needs to be there to sign the hire agreement, with a regular socket available. The lawn should be flat, free of toys and trampolines, and clear of any underground pipes or cables, because the unit is staked into the grass.

Popular choices for Knocknacarra

Crocodile Dundee is consistently one of our top-booked courses across Galway and suits children of all ages. Jaws The Shark is 45ft by 12ft with an 8.5ft slide, so it needs a good-sized garden. Lizzy the Lizard is a long-standing favourite for ages 5 and up.

For school events and summer camps with bigger groups, Nuclear Danger has tunnels, ramps and several bouncing zones. All hires are 2 days at the listed price, with a third day from €70 extra.
